Balloon flights are weather-dependent and run most frequently from spring through autumn, though they operate year-round whenever conditions allow. A shared shuttle-bus transfer costs 12 Euros per person; to book it we simply need your flight details in advance so we can match the timing. Kısmet Cave House has eight individually decorated rooms, each named after a flower — Jasmin, Daisy, Lilac, Safran, Orchid, Rose, Violet and Tulip. The rooms are carved from, or built with, the golden Cappadocian stone the region is known for, and several have arched, vaulted ceilings with hand-carved Seljuk-style detailing. Inside you will find Turkish rugs and kilims on the floors and walls, natural marble bathrooms with a private shower and toilet, central heating, filtered water, a hair dryer and a kettle; some rooms also feature a wood-burning stone fireplace or a jacuzzi. Beds are dressed with high-quality mattresses and hypoallergenic bedding. The result is an authentic cave-hotel atmosphere that keeps the character of a traditional Cappadocian house while staying comfortable and warm.
